The model reconstructs structure and creates new textures and details. It works best for low-resolution images, heavily blurred or damaged sources, old scans, and AI-generated images.
Important considerations
The result may differ noticeably from the source because the model generates missing details in addition to improving clarity. Use Hyper Upscale v5 Realism when faces, textures, and small objects must remain as close to the source as possible.
Image size limit
Images larger than 1280 × 1280 pixels are proportionally scaled down to fit within 1280 × 1280 pixels before processing.
